In the small towns of China, people follow shopping habits and practices distinct from those in the cities. The goods here also differ from urban offerings, reflecting a lifestyle more attuned to local living. However, with the rise of online shopping, even these remote towns can easily access the same products available in the cities. This raises a question: are the traditional goods, once a common sight in small towns, gradually disappearing? Through this photography project, I aim to capture the memorable scenes of this transition between the old and the new.
